Enigma blanche won the Master in the uncoloured category, a Gold was claimed by Enigma verte and Nemesinthe scooped a Silver in the coloured category.

Enigma verte and Enigma blanche are unfiltered premium absinthes produced at the Paul Devoille distillery in Fougerolles, France. They are made from a combination of redolent herbs and plants, including grande and petite wormwood, anise, fennel and hyssop, both use a grape-base alcohol. Enigma verte is bottled at 72%, in order to throw its instinctive greenish colour and present its aromas to the full. It louches attractively, and is complex and acute. Sure to delight those who are searching for a piquant, yet traditional absinthe. It represents one of the better quality/cost values in Modern traditional absinthes.

Enigma Blanche is made from an original 19th century recipe with the same herbs as the verte but including veronica, camomile, génepi, coriander and angelica. The alcoholic strength is 74% as historically stipulating, giving this absinthe real backbone, but by no means overpowers the finesse and lingering aromas of this complex absinthe. This absinthe is often compared to, and surpasses in quality, many uncoloured Swiss la Bleues now made today.

Nemesinthe absinthe is produced at the Timbermill distillery in London, UK. It was created by Liqueurs de France to provide a cocktail-friendly absinthe for every day drinking. It was recently awarded Silver medal, best in class at the 2010 International Wine and spirit Competition.
